Needs:
- gift certificates for food for build need to be picked up at Freds in Palmer, 3 Bears in Wasilla and Costco call Nancy at 6867 for details.
- Propane burners for food for build, extra coffee mugs call Nancy
- Start saving coffee cans and other like containers – we will need about 50 for build for storing screw, nails etc.
- Get the word out – we need tools to borrow for build – lots of ‘em, even things like wheelbarrows (30!). Everything will be returned in good condition and taken good care of. Call Loudon at 733-4079 if you can lend tools or help him acquire tools from others.
- Need silent auction items for Contra Dance fundraiser if you can help or donate call Christie Seay at 733-7854
- Still need volunteers to set-up/break-down call Karey at 733-7677
- ALSO NEED BAKED GOODS TO SELL AT THE DANCE – CALL KIM IF YOU CAN BRING SOMETHING 733-4450
Financial Update
- money raised so far $120, 213
- still have about $30,000 to go
Table at Earthday, this Sat. April 19th
- set up 10 am, event 11am-3pm
- will be selling bags, raffle tickets
- volunteer sign-up and tool sign-up
Laura – Borough stuff
- received draft construction & management agreement
- Charlie and Laura have read it and it has gone back to borough for revisions
- TCPP must comply with Migratory Bird Treaty which states no tree can be cut between May 1 and July15, must finish tree cutting on site before May 1.
Contra Dance Fundraiser – April 26th
- still looking for help in setting up/breaking down and working food table
- Bev Tanner has offered to make all the soup and Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge has donated $300 to sponsor event.
- Need silent auction items – see above
Barbara – plaques for playground (components and donor wall)
- she researched some options, cheapest may not be most attractive option
- need to consult with art committee
- may be possible to have pickets done in Anchorage
